Well I dont want just the options for all this excitement. I want Morey to actually seal the deal. If he is gonna talk up Dwight, Deron, and moving up in the draft? Then go ahead and do it. Tyreke Evans is a fine player too. I am just hoping there is more fire than smoke to all of this. This time.

I don't think Morey has said anything about Dwight and Deron. Although if it smells like a duck ...

If by fine player you mean selfish, black hole like, offense killing player then yeah, you'd be right. Just an idea that he might not be somebody we'd like to keep on our squad. As an asset to flip for bigger and better things? Sure, but as a member of the 2012-2013 Rockets, please no.

    Just bluffing by their agents

Morey needs to continue to pursue them both

Deron would rather play with nothing in Brooklyn than with Dwight in Houston. That's a hell of an insult.

If they get one of these pieces to lure the other I hope they find a real coach to help keep Howard in place and attract Williams. I'm fine with McHale running the Morey-ball on-court experiment with our current group, but not with actual talent.

No big loss really. He hasn't done much for the Nets, and was recently rated as one of the top 10 most overpaid players in the NBA. The main draw here is convincing Howard to stay. I would personally rather hold on to Dragic on a more reasonable contract and build a stronger overall team.

Does ANYONE want to come to the Rockets?! Gee, Houston must be considered the garbage dump of the NBA.

We're just not an attractive team.
At least with Yao we were the team with the Chinese endorsement deals. Now we're just a bunch of overachieving, yet still mediocre players with a GM that flips players like houses and a city that would rather go to a preseason Texans game than a conference finals game. We are a terrible market. Basketball culture is just not big enough here for all these superstars. At least, not big enough since we're in the shadow of football here in the South.

When we nab a more willing star through trade, free agency, or draft and create a winning culture here then players will want to come. But it all depends on how many times our names are mentioned in ESPN/TNT/News Sources and power rankings and less on the actual talent here. We need more glitz and glam in H-Town.

I would rather sign Steve Nash if we get Dwight.
