We want Cousins because we're rebuilding. Sac is also rebuilding. There's no synergy to be had here. Sac doesn't improve by trading a potential franchise player for a couple of starters. It doesn't help them to do 1-for-2s, nor trading bigs for guards. They want Brooks to pair with Cousins. There's no trade that can be made here.

Isn't he the only Jewish player in the NBA? I think Les Alexander wanted him in the draft too.

Considering that neither has, nor will this season, ever technically been a 20 ppg scorer scorers, I'd say it's more accurate to call them two guys who can occasionaly put up 18-20 ppg on bad teams without a lot of better options.
No that would be Amar'e who's the best Jewish guy in the NBA. Really.

Reggie Evans? That would be a role reversal.

So, now we've heard that the Nuggets have inquired about both Caspi and Batum. Does anybody think for a moment that we couldn't flip Brooks for Batum? I think we would want more out of Brooks than just Batum. We obviously want more than Caspi. I'm pretty sure Portland would do Brooks for Batum in a heartbeat, especially if we would help take Andre Miller off their hands in the process.

So, there's one way to get one of the pieces that Denver wants for Melo. Now, a PF and other young prospects and picks................... Hmmmmmm????? Cap relief? Hmmmmm.

I'd doubt it, Blazers tried to get Iggy for Batum. If they dumped Andre Miller they would look to get young promising pieces in return.

I'd do it if they throw in their 2011 1st Round Pick. I would add Budinger as well to sweeten the deal.

No thanks, we have 6 wings and 2 PGs.

No, the Blazers offered Batum + fillers for Iggy and were shot down.

The Blazers notoriously overate thier players.

My source just filled me in on something.

This morning Mark Cuban announced he is dangling Nowitzki in an attempt to land Luis Scola. In an interview with the Dallas Star Cuban said, "everyone thinks I'm in it for winning, but that was a miss quote, I'm in it for the WOMAN." He later continued with, "I've grown tired of German woman, they always sound angry. It's time I take my "Cuban Cigar" south of the border." Sources state that this trade could involve 9 teams and 46 players.

It's a little known fact, but true. Cuban has named his penis after his German star player.
