    I know it's early but I wanted to give you all a HEADS UP, since the MEX-USA game is at 3pm Central ClutchFans' time. Ask for WEDNESDAY as a vacation day or don't use up your sick days BEFORE. :cool: ( check your local time if different on FIFA's site )

    In this round, the group winners and runner-ups from the Third Round form a single double-round-robin, home-and-away group. The top three teams will qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The fourth place team will compete in a home-and-away play-off against the fifth-place team from CONMEBOL. Next matches after 8/12 are on 9/5 for all teams.

    I am so pissed, I will be on a plane to the UK when the game is on...wait, check that......when is the game, my plane leaves at 9pm central from DFW....

    3pm? AWESOME !!!!! I have a 2pm meeting and then can hit a sports bar to watch it before heading back to the Airport......HOOORAY !!!!

    I'm leaving - leaving - on that mid-day plane to Houston
    leaving on the mid-day plane.

    I'll ask someone in the family to Tivo the game so I can watch it later. And I will definitely avoid this site until finish watching it.

    The English broadcast will be on mun2 or SAP of telemundo. Directv and dish are both making mun2 available for free on that day.

    I agree on the starting lineup. I don't understand the addition of Casey again. How much does the guy have to suck before they'll quit calling him in? At least they didn't call DMB in this time.

    I'm already off on Wednesday, babysitting my newborn. Couldn't be better timing.

    Oh nevermind, Telemundo will have it....now to get one of those cheap HD tuners for my laptop and try it out at work, see what kind of reception I get.

    Donovan and Dempsey don't really do much serving from the midfield in the US system. The US system involves the outside midfielders actually pinching in while the forwards push outwards.

    Guardado will be arriving to camp tonight. Blanco will be playing in tomorrow's game against our Dynamo. Despite Marquez's absence, Aguirre will not call a replacement for him.

    Has anyone seen the new usssoccer.com site? It sucks. It looks like other sites I've seen. They prefer pizzaz over content. Meh.

    BTW, how would it make you feel when even your president doesn't believe in you? :mad: I'd be pissed. Maybe that will fire up the players?

    (there aren't enough rolleyes for swoly's futbol commentary)

    Thank God for ties in soccer. Which would pretty much be a loss for Mexico.
