Morey told him he'd only catch about 40 balls this year, so they let him walk to go have another 100 catch season working with one of the best QBs in the league.

Clearly, it was McHale. Now that he's gone...

He then went on to catch 41 and miss the playoffs when that QB played like crap and then couldn't stay healthy.....wait what are we talking about?

This might be alarming to some, but Harden will most likely end up a Laker or Clipper. Just think about it. Smith and Howard for the most part were looking forward to life outside of Atlanta but Harden loves LA and will always.

Morey didn't move quickly enough to negotiate a contract with Smith. It's already be confirmed.. He took care of Pat Bev, Brewer, and the draft first.

He was playing for his next contract, and thought he'd have an expanded role with the Clippers to showcase himself. With Houston, he would be competing with Jones, Motiejunas, and Capela for minutes.

He sacrificed money in the short term because he was betting on himself to have a big year with the Clippers. Then he would cash in during free agency.

Hadn't thought of that. They had to get him out of NY before he got snowed in today. Nice spot for a private jet!

I thought he left because we told him he had to wait for KJ to sign before he could sign and he didn't like that... Hell I would be disrespected to.

Honestly, I think the reason he left was legit, he wanted a defined role and Doc offered that. Rockets had hopes that TJones and DMo would compete for a role. DMo's injury has really hurt the team and not sure where he will be at end of season. Tonight proved that Rockets needed J-Smoove off the bench. Who cares about the past? Let's just move forward, the team was smiling and patting backs and giving fist bumps. I'm happy we won. Let's move toward PURSUIT.
