i think its cuz we're the only team in history to have a player with "lol" as a first or last name. and we have someone who if you add a p his name is pennis. i think everyone is jealous as **** over that. i would be furious.
They're clowning James Harden on The Jump and Sports Nation. They say his stats are empty stats. They say if you move Harden to the Cavs that isn't a championship team.
Perception counts. If media is not on your side you're deemed a garbage player despite the facts. Harden playing out of his mind and nobody cares. We know how important he is to the team and they say empty stats.
People hate really talented athletes who don't try or don't care. Probably there is a sense that they'd work so much harder if they had the talent, and it's not faIran that someone who doesn't care was born with so many gifts. EspeciallY the last few years, the faces of the team were Dwight, the big kid who people think doesn't care about winning, and Harden, who is perceived as the guy who doesn't care enough to put effort into defense. Obviously Dwight's gone, but that dislike built up over years, and Harden is still around. In perception, this has become pigeon-holed as the team of half-assing it and not caring, and people can't stand that. It doesn't matter how true it is, that is the perception.
