Would love to get DJ Agustin. Underrated PG on a friendly contract. I think it's like 8.5 million. Also played for UT like PJ Tucker. That would solve our backup PG problem. For the front court we could sign Josh Smith. Would love to get Nikola Vucevic or Kyle O'Quinn but we are stacked at the 5 already and I can see Shawn Long breaking into the rotation.

DM did not "screw up" this situation. We didn't have pieces that NY was interested in plain and simple. Engineering 3 and 4 team trades is notoriously difficult. DM made a massive effort to improve the team without gutting the team which is exactly and precisely his job.
He already gutted all our previous draft prospects, so yeah, maybe it wouldn't have been worth losing what was left for one guy. I just wish we could get another really good forward for this team.

It was probably Gordon and Capela they wanted which I suspect RA, EG and CC for Melo + scrubs or force us to take Noah is a trade 99% of this forum would not do. We had a very good team last year that beat OKC head to head and both teams are now better. We shall see.

Would it be possible to get Brook Lopez from the Lakers? Don't think we can get Boogie or Marc but at the trade deadline Lopez can be huge for us.
