    What do you guys think of the other guys in the deal? Harden is main line so lets talk about the other pieces we added like Cole and Cook.

    Wouldn't Aldrich sit ahead of Smith as a player?

    Waive the other 2, and then still have to make the 3 cuts. Forbes firms as a keeper without a legit backup 2, Livingstone is also a sure keeper since he could play the 2. Machado, Smith and Brockman all gone (along with Hayward and Cook).

    I'd much rather have Smith than JaJuan Johnson. And I'd much rather have Cook than Forbes. Cook is an amazing 3 point shooter. A team can always use a sharpshooter.

    I like Aldrich and think he has a chance to be a rotation player for us.

    The others are salary filler/garbage

    Knowing murray, he will throw an offer for Jefferson who has an expiring contract and will allow Jones and Dmo to grow a bit this season. Now that we have an all-star caliber talent right now on this team, a band-aid move like this wouldn't be as bad as before. Something along the lines of Royce, Ppat, a future 1st, and whatever contract fillers are needed for Jefferson.

    The guy I'd really like to be here is LMA, but that won't happen unless the Blazers decide to tank and build for the future. We could trade Dmo, Royce, First available 1st, and contract fillers for him, but I doubt it.

    A lot of people wanted us to pick up Cole. He is an interesting player and didn't Cook win the three point shooting contest? We know how Lin likes his three point shooters!

    Cook won the 3 point shooting contest in 2009. If Lin could made Novak look like a poor mans Robert Horry just imagine what he could do with someone like Cook on this team?

    Landing Harden changes the teams identity and goal completely. We should trying to make the playoffs now. Play the vets, layoff the youngstas.
