How can they **** up their 2015-16 season? Oops, they did.
How can they **** up the coaching search? Oops, they did.
How can they **** up free agency? Oops, they probably will.

It may not matter. Harden was terrific in the 2012-13 season, but that team still won only 45 games. He needs talent around him.

I think all Rockets fans are hoping for the best. Only a few trolls are hoping for the worst. I'm just going to sit back and see what happens.

Morey and Les seem to think that D'Antoni is going to be able to recruit some of the top free agents this summer. So, we will know pretty soon if the first part of their plan pans out or not.

He's not the coach we need, but he's the coach we deserve. or something like that.

So who's gonna play the Stoudemire role? Harden is obviously Nash. Ariza is Marion. We could sign Barbosa in FA. Lets get the gang back together again yeah!

He's even admitted that the defense came from JVG for that team.

Their might be a little money left over..to splurge, but it's that Small foward position collectively stinks.

On an individual level yes. But he didn't marginalize their defensive prowess to focus on offense. He got the best out of both worlds.

    I've embraced the signing.

But I have no illusions that the Rockets will improve their defense much if at all next year.

And with that, I want them to sign Ryan Anderson and Seth Curry or some other scoring/shooting point guard.

At least then the team will actually be fun to watch and I might tune in for more than a few games.

I dont have to embrace anything.

Like any fan, if it works I will cheer and if it doesn't I will boo. But being realistic, it will be the intangibles, team chemistry, off season success, the headspace of the players and luck that determine whether this team does well or not. Pringles and Co. will only have a mild bearing on things IMO.

Reluctantly admitting, there is a bit of "entertainment" factor about MDA. There's even a certain *gasp" air of "legitimacy" of knowing MDA is an actual NBA level coach and not an unknown.

Not gonna give into Les's simple mindedness because its not what the team needs. Though wont deny that the element isnt there either, just to support not wanting him

It will be interesting to see if he can repeat what he did in Phoenix with four All Star caliber players when now he only has one.
