I'm sure rocket fans on this board would like to avoid players w/ major surgeries. We've been hopeful for years waiting months to see them come back. Only to be disappointed. Tmac Yao era. Sampson?

Could have been a major blessing in disguise that the Rockets didn't land Bynum or Gordon this offseason. Both very talented players with superstar potential, but man... they just cant stay healthy and worst of all, their injuries are chronic.

Still I think Bynum will make an impact in Philly this year. They still need someone like Turner or Holiday to emerge this season to make a playoff run, but in the playoffs if he's healthy it will make a difference having the best big in the conference come playoff time. Could surprise some folks.
