LOL @ this thread. Still glad we aren't facing Spurs?? It's not like it matters who we face, even Suns will beat the current Rockets in a 7-game series.

We got this. We lost to OKC on purpose so we know their game plan. Similar to losing a hand on purpose at poker to see your opponent's tell.
Getting blown out was definitely the best way to find out what OKC's weakness was. They averaged 121 against us in the regular season, but they only got 120! Our defense was spectacular yesterday.
Ehh, to be fair...the Rockets defense was actually better than they had been doing most of this year....but everyone on OKC was on fire. When you got Serge Freaking Ibaka stroking threes like he was, you know it aint gonna be your night.
Thunder is too good. They are better than 60 win team. Their SRS in regular season was 8th best in NBA history. All top 10 SRS team won title that year other than '72 Bucks and that's because they played '72 Lakers who had even better SRS(somebody had to lose). They've been unlucky in regular season, lost four times on last second shot(Spurs, Nuggets, Wizards, Grizzlies) and they basically tanked last game of the regular season. Overall they had the lowest scoring margin in games they lost. Put them in East, more luck and they would probably win 70 games. Objectively they are the best team in the NBA, but Miami got HCA and matches up well with them, otherwise they'd be favorites to win it all.
The Roxs were always going to get pwned by the Thunder. That's why it was important not to have this late season meltdown and secure at least the 7th seed. I'm glad I didn't watch the bloodbath and I'm not watching any of the remaining three matches either. There will be only heartbreak, tears and humiliation in those. I want to keep the uplifting memory of this lovable young team exciting reg season performance untainted by a disappointing ending.
He took 2 3s and made 1, and he's been shooting the 3 at 35% this year. Not exactly a fluke performance.
