    Can’t remember a worse summer league performance but us. I’ve been watching summer league for 10 years.

    I watched Joey Dorsey in summer league

    Hartenstein sucks. Dudes a stiff with no lateral quickness, awkward footwork, bad hands, bad touch, foul prone.


    We have no backup center no PF right now as far as I’m concerned. Hartenstein need to be cut.

    I was about to post the exact same thing, really never saw a Rockets summer league team play as trash as this one, literally unwatchable.

    Bunch of guys just lookin to make a name for themselves. Not setting up big guys on pick n roll...

    Probably just the style of play and playing with worse players .

    A guy who is a role player (stylistically) is gonna always look worse in free flowing situations like summer league ... at least this is my theory

    A guy like Clark whose strength is IQ and team defense isn't gonna be able to show that off . Hartenstein certainly is more that type of player than one who physically dominates with athletic highlights . Tho I wish Clark was making his 3's

    We looked bad that half . I blame coaching .

    I'm not ready to give up on harty after half of the first SL game . Tho I missed most of this half .... ill critique a bit more this upcoming half

    So Rockets G league superstars ( Hartenstein, Gary Clark, Chiozza) getting hammered by Mavericks in Summer League...

    Early thoughts:

    • Clemons' shooting is crazy, and he also looked good on the receiving end of an out-of-bounds lob play
    • Hartenstein is "having a rough night" as the announcers said. Looks like a scrub. The game is too fast for him.
    • Defense: There is none. I mean, it is Summer League. But people aren't even finding their man when there's motion.
    • Everyone else: Nothing sticks out to me yet.
    • Isaiah Roby and Antonius Cleveland for the Mavs look like they're a tier above everyone else.

    After watching so far , I can't evaluate hartenstein . The rest of the guys are playing like crap .

    He did an ok job when swtcihed out into guards ... can't expect him to come all the way back for the rebound too .
