I didn't see it in his post. But now that I have seen it, I will say it isn't official. It hasn't been announced. He may or may not have signed his deal on July 11th. It's apparently agreed to. But it hasn't been made official by the league office. And I don't think there's much to see here even if Dekker signs his deal. He's the least likely to be traded. If he is traded...it'll be a major trade for undoubtedly a starter and likely superstar or else as part of a package for a starter and a future #1. But that's not the most likeliest possibility. Terrence is the most likely Rocket to be traded in the next couple months. The most likely trade possibility at this time involves Jones and possibly Jet.
Morey is ALWAYS looking for an upgrade You don't need to be an insider or a fake sider or an e-wenis guy or have sources to know that. It is common sense.
The pretender was Brooks. Someone pretended they knew he was better than Lowry. Added KHump to my trade target list. He's a possibility.
Highly doubtful Morey makes any moves of any significance. It will most likely be a Terry or Chuck signing. We just can't land another major piece without killing our newly built depth or chemistry. We have potentially one of the best benches in the league with Bev,Jones, Brew, KJ, Capela, Thornton and possible Terry as well as a very very strong starting 5. I'm guessing for once Morey is very pleased with his roster.
I actually think Morey is still working on another piece. It seems now that we can go "all in". As good as we are, we may not even have HCA in the playoffs. Spurs, Clippers, OKC and GS could Easily have better seasons than us. I am very happy about how our team looks, but I also don't think we've separated from the pack. I feel another move is very important. I think KJ, Dekker and a PF are our main trading chips. I realize some people can't be traded til Dec.
We have to get a couple more to fill out the roster, but this thread says significant, and you run around pretending like you know something when the entire forum knows you don't have any real information about it. Basketball is fine - and my videos rock! DD
Acquiring Lawson without giving up one playoff rotation player has separated the Rockets from everyone else in the league accept GS IMO. Morey's goal was to bring back the team that went to the WCF and he's achieved that so far while adding one of the best play makers in the league. Chemistry is much more valuable than you think. We would all think that one of either Jones or DMO will be moved by the deadline as it will be difficult to sign them both. Im very curious to see how DMO comes back from his back surgery.
