bro you obviously did not watch the thunder. they guarded him because he shot a scorching 34% from outside ? lol

you are saying westbrook himself was the spacing for....himself ??

this is about the tax. i dont know why yall cant see it. but then again this the same group that thinks melo was cut because of poor play and not to get jeff B. back.

Regular season gimmicks. Not going to get too high on this. Take tonight for an example, got killed on the board and second chance by a lowly eastern doormat that is not even playing their stars.

Dude, you apparently have a chip on your shoulder about this, so nothing I say is going to sway you. There are literally reams of articles about how Moreys use of advanced stats uncovered Harden as a highly underrated player in OKC which was why he treated him like a franchise player instead of a #3 bench player.

The Rockets entire systems takes Hardens unique skill set and through math found the most effective way to maximize that skill set in a way that no other GM could have done.

And Milwaukee jumped from a first round playoff exit with Giannis to a #1 seed by applying the same 3 heavy system that Morey developed. You can have a superstar (AD with the Pels) who never wins if they are in a system that fails to maximize their value. Giannis didn’t make the Bucks #1 - Bud did...with Math.

what does that even matter when his teammates couldnt shoot ? spacing comes from those around you providing it.

Fugg it. They aren’t good anyways so might as well try something radical to try to create some kind of tip of the scales in your favor.

    pay attention.

i talked about WB won an MVP playing with no spacing. you guys are arguing we must trade clint for westbrook. I am saying even WITH clint we have a lot more spacing than he had in OKC when he won an MVP. i think its stupid to trade our only real big and give up some rim protection and rebounding just to have more offense, when we are already top 3 in that area. other contenders have a lot of size. this is going to bite us in the end.

So what? Its still not enough? Here are some reasons to counter what you are saying. There overall offensive efficiency was not great either. The league is also not the same as it was 3 years ago man. Offenses have gotten better and are taking more threes, we have to keep up. He's also JUST NOW starting to play like he was a few a years ago and a lot of that is because of small ball. I also told you with Clint and Russ on the floor we are bad offensively.

how can you say we were not good in offensive efficiency when we were number 1 most of the year but been alternating with milwaukee and dallas? where is this narrative coming from that we cant score with WB and clint ????

Bro you are not understanding how this working. When they are on the floor together....we are not a great offensive team. Thats just what the data says. But....I donno what the hell is going on with this trade, this is not what I wanted.

How is Aaron Gordon any different than Capela then? If all he's doing is PnR, then how does that change what we're doing now? We need a 34-39% deep threat that can play the game where Westbrook doesn't.
