I don't see why not. It's a Clippers home game, not a Lakers home game. The clippers should be able to cover them up.

I can't believe they didn't do that already. Who the hell would play a game on their home court with some other teams banners hanging around? I guess the Clippers.

Great idea. Huge pain in the ass for the people who have to do it, but great idea.

Word. No wonder the Clippers were always in the shadow of the Lakers, they don't even have their own arena.

Well, it is their arena too. It's not like the Lakers are letting them use it. They were in their shadow because they sucked.

changing the culture of the team and the city.

    way to go Doc

it was always amazing how they changed the arena from purple and gold to red white and blue, this is the next logical step.

and an awesome slap in the face to their co-tenants.

    That's not fair.

The Clipper's have absolutely nothing of value to cover up...

What are the Lakers supposed to do, cover up the Clip's Pacific Div title?

BTW that bag belongs on Blake Griffin's face, not Kobe's.

WTF, they weren't already doing this? just typical of the clippers. neither organization owns the arena so why resort to b**** status just because the lakers had more success. have some pride. good job doc.

sure they could cover whatever they want, that's the idea.

BTW the uniforms don't say Clipper's on them, so why are you using an apostrophe?

Can the Rockets (or Toyota Center) please no longer display the Comets or the Aeros championship banners? Those teams don't even exist anymore. The Texans wouldn't have the Oilers' AFL banners up there, even though they won those in the city.

I'd rather the Rockets have an individual banner for each conference championship and division championship (rather than having them all lumped into one banner each).

Well, to be fair... the seat color always indicate the "primary" tennant. That's why Boston has always had YELLOW seat colors, as the Bruins were the primary tennant of the old Boston Garden.

Seat colors are purple/gold at Staples.

there is no primary tenant at Staples.

the purple seats were reupholstered black in the last few years
