I think he's right. The Rocket's are a sleeping giant that has been playing unmotivated ball all season. The playoffs are a different animal. It's a second chance at a first impression. The regular season Dwight Howard is not the playoffs Dwight Howard. They're basically the same team that went to the WCC last year but now we have more depth at the pg and pf spots. Call me crazy but this team is waiting for the palette to be cleansed.

 

depth? the same depth where you don't know who will play well at the pf position out of 4-5 guys. the depth at pg that forces your sg to play pg as well? yeah crazy

 

There is a 1% chance, but if any team were going to be doing the upsetting this year, it would be us. If we just happen to have a couple of those games where we magically play up to our talent, we could be the team to do it. Won't happen though...

I think the Rockets have a chance against the Skip Bayless Spurs, but remember they are coached by Greg "I hate the hack a even though I'm the Capo di Tutti hack a Capos" Popovich.

He would probably use Bayless' 6 fouls in 5 minutes, KJ style to incite a hacka, and then the ability to exploit a pasty 60 year old sportswriter turned shouter on defense would be over.
