Yup, because all star game and playoff games are the same....... Harden should have gave it his all to win this glorified popularity dick measuring contest in order to gain Skip's respect which is much more important than an injury. On a more serious note thou, I hope no one gets butthurt over this. This is the narrative and will be up until the end. Rockets could be in the finals and the narrative wont change. Heck it could be game 6 with Rockets up 3-2 and they will still bring up Harden's game six vs the Sperms.... Lets enjoy the season fam, never know when we will have another one like this....

Meh he just had a bad shooting night. He rarely drives to the rim in all star games. Can't ever remember another player being criticized for an all star game.

In his 5 previous AS games 47 of his 59 field goal attempts were three pointers. He shot 49% on those threes.

I truly do not understand why people on this board post things from Skip Bayless.

He is a professional troll. And anyone with any common sense knows this.

Yao was the worst / boring Rockets All Star.

All Star Game should be called the Slam Dunk / Athletic players only conference. Ppl just want to see dunks.

The "man" is somewhere past being an idiot. Webster may have to come up with a new word to describe him.

It was not only his shooting, it was his body language the whole game. Walking.
Yes, it is an all-star game, but you see other stars actually wanting to win that game. Again, you don't see Chris Paul playing like that, never.
So Skip is overreacting, but again, if you don't want people laughing at your game, man up and play hard. Easy.

I didnt watch the game but looking at his stat line its clear the dude was tired/hungover from partying all weekend long. Its all-star weekend so its going to be one huge party and on top of that its in his hometown of LA - OF COURSE he was going to live it up. Dude is balling out as the MVP right now on the best team in the NBA. Go look up some of the games he had in LA when he first joined the Rockets he did the same thing and had terrible games and the Rockets would lose to the Clippers and Lakers because of that. (Seriously after one game in LA years ago he had a duffel bag that had stacks of cash in it he opened up to give to his boys right in front of me) He has matured in that he doesnt do that anymore or he doesnt go all out partying until after the game instead of the night before (maybe the Rockets also got stricter under MDA)

But for a game that has no meaning whatsoever and several days off before the next game he can go party all night long as long as he doesnt hurt himself or do something stupid - he deserves that for the season he has been having so far.

Did he finish the game uninjured? Cool, that's a win.

But where's the narrative on Stephanie:eek:? - he had a worse game than Harden. This game doesn't mean **** - it's the regular season and the playoffs that matter and I believe a rested Harden during the playoffs will be a huge concern for other teams.

The NBA seems to want the all-star game to get back to being competitive and interesting to watch...
That was the whole point in this year's changes...

You might disagree with that concept though. And even being more competitive, clearly it's still a meaningless game.

And Skip, also clearly, is a useless listen.

But you can't actually argue with the take that Harden sucked last night and it was reminiscent of Game 6 vs. the Spurs. Because it was. Not sure what's being discussed here.

My guess is he was tired/hungover. But still, not a great look for the Rockets in the 17/18 all-star weekend.

R/nba is even worst today. The deuchebags wait for any harden slip up to go in balls deep on him.

I have no idea why he is so universally hated.
