    No, it was Kaman, i think Yao enjoys destroying this guy, i think he has a genuine dislike for him.

    If you are a Chinese or you understand Mandarin pretty well, you'll know what Yao talked is totally basketballwise, nothing disrespectful to Kaman.

    "Choke to death" is the direct translation from what Yao said, but it actually have a different meaning when a player/athlete said it. It means your opponent is totally under your control and can't do what he likes/wants. "Choke to death" sometimes don't even have to be about a person, for example, you can say "choke their inside pass to their center to death" in Chinese.

    theres just something about kaman... yao just loves to F around with kaman's mind... I find it hilarious actually.. haha
