To the Magic for Dooling, or Lakers for McKie or Profit

Denver for Demar Johnson. Denver just got Patterson from Portland. He is their backup 3 now. Buckner and now DA will be at the two spot.

At this juncture, I would say Derek Anderson for Tony Delk. I will be a bit disappointed we couldn't do better, but, then again, IMO we could do worse.

I don't see how we end up NOT trading him, even if it's for nothing.

I agree that the JVG vs. Anderson issues have hurt his value; however, this is not a case of pawning off a crap player for something. He does have value. He's very servicable. To be honest, I was suprised that JVG had such an issue with him. There's no doubt that he's lost some explosiveness, but he's a solid role player, and would probably do moderately well on another team. We should be able to get something of worth for him.

Pffft. He'll just be waived. Why would anyone want to take on his contract when it's likely that we'll just waive him?

This has got to be one of the quietest deadline days in the past 10 years or so

Deals get announced after the deadline for the most part.

Even if there was no prize, at least we got it right. :)
