Does anyone else remember when Barea said he always goes off against Houston because we never defended him tight? Never again!

I hope Bevs expresses regret to westbrook about the outcome of the play westbrook was injured on before the game.

It's a shame how westbrook was hurt by Bevs, but it was due to the honey badger personality of Bevs. He will eat bones if he has to survive. It would be nice if he could find a nice medium between a shane battier and a ron artest (pre-psychiatrist).

    Can't wait for tomorrow's game!

What dirty play did Bev do? I know he trash talks. I know he intimidates.

POR can't play defense, that's all. They should counter peskiness with peskiness if they can. Problem is they can't get to Harden because Harden will stand up to them.

Why did Lillard wait till end of game to complain?

Lillard most definitely wouldnt have lasted back in the day. Derek Harper, Gary Payton and other hard nose up and your face pg defenders would have owned his crying ash. LOL

This makes me wonder how Lillard would have survived in the 90's with the hand checking.

Lillard is a chucker. A score-first PG who shoots around 43% from the field, plays no defense. And now we find out hes soft too lmaoo. How he was named an all star is a mystery.

You know honestly, if we kept Goran we would have still had people begging Bev to start

What else do you expect Lillard to say. It's not like he know what defense is like given that he's never played any in the NBA.

One thing I wonder is whether or not Lillard gets exposed this series for being a faux-star. Sure, he has a high usage. Sure he can hit the outside shot. But what good is it if he cannot consistently win his matchup in a setting like the playoffs where everyone is giving 100% effort on defense?

I do not expect him to do much better against us than he did in the regular season. Not with everyone trying their best on D now. People underrate Houston's defense because we had such extensive patches without Howard, Asik, or Beverley. It feels like 80% of the year at least one of them was out with an injury, including two of them out for the past 2-3 weeks up until the Hornets game.

With all our pieces healthy and running on all cylinders, our defense will be better than top ten, it might be top five.
