If true, I would hope Morey would have seen Howard is a stupid punk and secretly started going for Plan B, rather then wasting anymore time trying to accommodate Howard. If we were to sign a max 3rd player we can say bye to parsons when his contract expires. We wont be able to afford him then. IMO he is our 3rd star, no need to sign another one.
What it sounds like is Howard wants to add a bunch of tough but not achievable conditions so that when we don't satisfy them, he can just say we didn't do what was necessary therefore absolving him of any obligation. What an ass.
Agreed, an inquiry should not equate to a demand. In fact, this question allows Morey the opportunity to regale Dwight even more with is financial acuity. The Rockets are the ONLY team right now in position to bring in 2 max (or 1 max and one near max). This is a positive people.
Wait, Morey on 790 this morning debunked this saying Dwight didn't ask for anything like this. Only said that D12 asked about if we would allowed to have some input on what the direction the organization is going. Morey said he obliged, saying that he extended the same assurances to Harden.
