Yao can go much higher if he was willing to shoot a few more commercials.

:D 1 Tobacco commercial will be enough, but that will never happen. I think Yao already has alot of sponsors on his hand, lots of them are actually just pure voluntary ( dunno if that counts as sponsor) ie the cancer thingy

How is Wayne Rooney ahead of Yao Ming?

I'm sure Yao will leapfrog a lot of the competition since his contract is maxing out this upcoming season.

Lol, I thought Yao Ming simply turned over his fortune to his parents! That's what it says in one of the articles in pryuen's Official Yao Ming's thread.

So Phil Mickelson makes $123,287.67 per day?
That is $5,136.98 per hour.....beats the heck out of minimum wage I guess...

And Tiger Woods makes twice that each day?

Thats some pretty nice scratch right there

Yao will jump into top 10 next year as his new deal kicks in. If he accpeted more endorsements he would have been top 10 or even top 5 already. Very nice for someone many experts pronounsed a bust initially. He is only begining.

The funniest part about this is that Yao likely does not even know this - he does not know he is number #13 among foreigners. Are they even calculating his endorsements in China?

Rossi, "The Motorcycle Guy", is a stud, the most dominant motorcycle racer in history, and the most popular athlete in Italy (even after the World Cup). Add to that he's planning a move to Formula 1 and should dominate. He'll be number one on this list in a few years.
