Aldridge seems an interesting player to be backing agreeing to me, an all-star that will likely be at or around the top of his free agent class and that currently plays in a small market team.

Martin might be more worried about his money if he paid his mortgage.

So right now the most significant players to date that would accept the CBA deal are all from different classes of players. Kobe Bryant (Superstar), LaMarcus Aldridge (All-Star), Kevin Martin (high end role player) and Steve Blake (rank and file).

We will be hearing from more players by tomorrow.

Martin is a man of the people he is one of the few that got over on the banks instead of the opposite.

It's made very little sense to me how much hostility Martin received over closing out his mortgage to save himself some money, it's as though he must adhere to a strict ethical policy when dealing with an organisation that would sell his mother into slavery if given the option.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Kevin Martin again.

Winner! LOL. But yeah, I agree with Kevin here, for most players, losing this season will be more than what the gain in the cba.

First off, don't count Kobi. He has completely different motivations to sign any deal and start the season. Chasing MJ.

Secondly, there is a rather large "class" not represented in your list: players at the beginning of their careers...no matter what draft position. Every player 2nd round minimum wage "rank and file" who has made a role for themselves to Top pick future superstar/all-star are all facing contracts that will increase their salary by 2x to 3x. All these players in their first contract out of the draft can miss these low $ months and easily recoup it later with a better BRI split. None of that "class" of player is in your list....how big is that "class"?

Lots of players in NBPA, lots of different agendas. Will the players, Kevin Martin et al, wanting a pay at best deal price, if in a minority get treated 'poorly', i.e. like scabs by the others if and when NBA basketball restarts?

Man I hope he's back. I enjoyed every bit of the video of him playing defense. Its hard to believe we've won 50% of our games starting a center that is always at least 5" inches shorter. Gotta appreciate how hard he works. Of course I would work my ass off if ever had the slimmest chance of getting paid to play basketball.

That pisses me off. They're all spoiled living fairy tail lives and can't negotiate a deal. And the owners are exploiting the talents of the players so they can get paid entirely too much in the first place while we pay $100s to watch a live game. If I'm going to a real game I want the good seats or I'd rather watch where I'd be more comfortable. STFU and entertain me already.
