Quarter-Nelson, Half-Nelson, Father-Nelson. JV is a great actor. Midnight Cowboy I think is my favorite JV work but this is up there so far. The rest of the show is solid as well and can go quite a few different ways.

I enjoy the show, but it sure does move slow. If I had missed the last 2 episodes I would not be lost.

just watched sunday's episode. damn this **** is getting good! Spoiler mickey blowing van miller's brains out! (i'm gonna miss van miller and his shenanigans...) tommy wheeler has to dry out after marrying chloe-with-a-peen so he can take ray's kid to the kid's choice awards! james motherf&cking woods strangling the annoying b**** with his belt! ray simultaneously juggling frank the fbi guy and the dude wanting to publish tommy's photos and making his annoying kid happy and his annoying wife happy and worrying about his psycho dad. it must be exhausting to be ray donovan.
I am always intrigued by the role of THE FIXER Ray amd his crew are great his family stuff is good but secondary for me .. . . Rocket River
With the 2k+ viewers in the HO, just gotta say this show is rocking it right now. Yeah, some plot holes and what not but damn is this good television. Just re-ordered Showtime and caught up on season 2. Last few episodes are delivering the goods. Didn't know if they'd have a show after season 1 but uh yeah, they do. MOAR PLUEAZE.

I liked this show at first but it's starting to lose credibility - the home life or whatever is so dysfunctional and miserable that it verges on comedy - the birthday party episode where everybody had an emotional breakdown and a huge dramatic scene, yet hte party continued.
Liev wrote or directed that one from what I recall in the credits. I think he may have went a little overboard on the tense drama of that party Spoiler (like the bat to the car) Didn't catch last nights but looking forward to the dvr.
