Should we try for Antwan Jamison?

    Bleacher Report:
    For some reason, Jamison just can't seem to catch a break when it comes to chasing a championship.

    When the Wizards seemed like they had a solid group, they blew up.

    Then he caught a stroke of luck and got traded to what seemed like a sure thing for the NBA Finals with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

    Oops, LeBron is now in Miami and Jamison is stuck on a Cavaliers team in rebuild mode.

    At 34 years of age, Jamison seems to be a better fit for a contender needing a scorer at the small forward or power forward positions than for the new-look Cleveland Cavaliers.

    Jamison's price tag isn't too bad at $13.3 million this season and $15 million for next season, and the Cavaliers probably won't be looking for much more than expiring contracts in return[/B}

    This trade works:

    We maybe throw in a 2nd round draft pick and they might say yes. Jamison would be a goodd complement to Yao and would let us move Scola to the bench, which in turn would make more players expendable to bring in another player. Thoughts?

    13.5 and 15 million IS a bad price tag for us, a team with plenty of PF skills looking to upgrade elsewhere.

    Jamison screwed up the Wizards and the Cavs. Why would we want him to screw us now?

    Trade idea after trade idea after trade idea after trade idea after trade idea after trade idea after trade idea..... C'Mon man! We just filled out our roster with some good talent. We have good depth at every position now. How many trades do you want Morey to make? He makes one move, you suggest another one. He makes another move, you suggest then another.... Are you guys like this in your personal lives? Do you ever settle down and work with what you have? Get to know what you have? See what it gives you, what you can make of it? Or do you just look for constant change? That has to be expensive, stressful, and un-fulfilling.

    Stop with all the trade ideas. Wait til Feb, see where the team is. By then we will know what piece is missing. THEN make your trade ideas!

    It seems to me that Patrick Patterson is capable of doing everything Jamison does at a fraction of the price. A stretch 4 is not really a glaring need fo this team.

    He's not a loser and is not responsible for screwing up the Cavs or Wiz.

    Bottom line...he cost to much for us in a position of no need.
