Yeah, the 4 consecutive 3 and outs to start the game on 1 of 12? passing.... Nick Hoyer: I respect your support for your brother. But, be honest, high school Shane Lechler may be a better QB at this point...
Unfortunately I don't even know if we can with savage on the IR there is not a lot of argument to say you are looking at other options especially when our new backup QB will be picked up off the street tomorrow . That being said , we suck enough already and with Arian out maybe you could rest JJ a couple of games towards the end of the season . The scouting department sucks also ... Man it must be depressing to be a diehard Texan fan right now.
And believe it or not, the defense was even worse... Not saying the offense was "good" at all... but the defense was that bad. Which is why its laughable to say this team "should" tank... they'll be bad all by themselves. (and yet still, the vegas odds say they'll be tied for first place in this crap-tacular division after next Monday).
The "Bud-Dome" would already be out-dated and he'd be seeking a new stadium and threatening to move to LA by now... (not even joking, as the Bud Dome would have been older than the Edwards Jones Dome is in St. Louis, while having a virtually identical design).
No way. McNair is the greatest owner in the history of the NFL compared to Bud Adams. I think time has made people forget just how god-awful he really was.
You all have good points and I do recall those crazy days but McNair can be a great guy and if we still keep having loosing years what's the point...I'd rather take the drama with winning versus seeing these implosions.
Plus Bud has moved onto the next phase of life so what we'd have left is the team...put it to you like this...if the Titans surpass us over time then there we have it. They've been to 1 superbowl when Bud was around with his drama against St Louis
anyways...enough with the "what if's"...bottom line the team is a mess and if O'Brian turns this around before his contract is up he definitely deserves coach of the year. Hard Knocks didn't help looking back which was a McNair decision.
but same results or worse doesn't make any sense and Titans lost to one of the best NFL teams ever. Greatest Show On Turf. Right now Texans probably can't beat Ohio State
"Miami became the first team in at least 75 years to score four offensive touchdowns of at least 50 yards in a half, according to STATS. Tannehill extended his two-game streak to 25 consecutive completions, an NFL record, before he threw his only incompletion in the fourth quarter." http://news.yahoo.com/4-big-plays-early-help-dolphins-drub-texans-203254078--spt.html
Yep and we're one game better right now. I guess we'll see where it all ends up by the end of the year and the coming years still searching for a QB and who to fire on both sides of the ball
Sure, but the Titans are a pretty awful franchise if you look at it, The Texans were an expansion team and they made the playoffs twice in the last decade, the Titans weren't and they too only made the playoffs twice in the last decade.
