    1) Maybe maybe won't help Ryno but can't hurt
    2) Will improve the television viewing experience

but it could affect them differently because when you are on the road you may prefer other team not to have support while at home it may produce disappointment

I think that speaks more to their 'road motivation' to shutdown the opposing home crowd.

Whereas, over time, Harden and the team have probably lost their motivation to hype up the TC crowd--especially during Nov/Dec home games (when it's all football, all the time).

Also, officiating for home games has been atrocious. Then you have the historical indifference of mid-week home games against sub-.500 teams. Home court disadvantage becomes a real issue.

Things at TC should heat up in March/April, particularly for marquee matchups on national TV.

But I tend to agree, the players are generally more locked in at away games and it's a shame.

they should just test it out when they have practice. Have ryan shoot under different light and then keep the one that he shoots the highest percentage under

The Rockets are supposedly this super smart analytics team, and they can't even figure out why their 20 million dollar player can't shoot in their home arena. Ridiculous.

fwiw: the GOAT Stephen Curry is shooting 31% at Home this year and 44% on the Road.

    take that for data

Houston is bad at home because Rockets crowd completely SUCKS. It is shamefully cold, shy, and has too many blanks. Probably worst crowd in the NBA.

Looks great and would "hide" the empty seats in lower bowl.

I have been saying it for years, we should change the lighting to make it look like MSG or Stables center. That is such a bad ass way to present the game

Ryan has a mental issue at ToyCen. He should never have made that comment about the colors/depth perception, that only legitimized and strengthened his own insecurities. If we now change the lighting it will only further cement his delusion that it's the buildings fault.

That being said I don't mind the idea proposed by OP, but for fan (hiding) reasons, not to coddle poor little home Ryno.

I think the lighting should be dimmed so I can pick my nose and wipe it on the seats without being judged.

With that jumbotron it's crazy how the arena is not more dimmed. Not just at TC, but around the league. Just looks way better.

Rockets should change their team colors and reduce the amount of red for Anderson. Bring back the red whiite and blue pajamas.
