The Package: Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, Jae’Sean Tate, 2024 first-round pick via Brooklyn, 2025 first-round pick via Brooklyn or OKC ^ This was what was proposed by insider Ari Schwartz of Hoops Habit with what it may cost. Rockets will have 2 potential star rookies Jabari and Next Draft Surrounded by Brown, and possibly 20th pick? Full cap space and Harden on discount possibly?
Sengun maybe absolutely not Green. Give them anyone on the roster other than Smith and Green along with all the BKN picks, LAC pick and our pick if it isn’t top 3.
Not for any package likely to get it done, and hell no to that proposed deal. Also, people keep pushing this Brown idea over and over again, and once again, I would be shocked if Boston traded him. I'll bet he starts next season in a Celtics uniform. People are in such a damned rush to get back in the playoffs. I hope the front office is more patient than y'all are. We don't need to trade away half of what we collected in the rebuild for a 26 year old who is around the 20th best player in the league. Nobody is winning a championship if Jaylen Brown is their best player. He's right where he belongs, the #2 option on a contending team behind a top 5 player in Tatum. P.S. Boston has a long history of fleecing teams in trades involving superstars and/or top picks. Do you really trust Stone to not become one of that long line of trade losers? Because I don't.
Who knows if he could be a #1 option? 26.6 ppg? Just saying based on what he could possibly be here, there going to want 2 Of rockets young potential core drafts and Green,Segun would be it. Ive read alot of articles, and i was told the rockets overhyping there Young Drafts Segun, and Green?(Now thats not what i said.) They consider him a superstar in Boston so. Yeah seems to be a pretty hefty price tag, so i guess Houston has no chance on getting Brown.
He's not had any shortage of shots. He's playing 36 minutes and taking almost 21 shots a game. This isn't a guy who just hasn't had the opportunity to get a lot of usage, like Harden was back in OKC. Building around him would look very much like every team that has tried to build around Paul George. Incredible complementary player to pair with your #1 option; any team would love to have him. Not a truly dominant lead scorer, especially in the context of today's league which had six (6), count 'em, guys scoring over 30 points per game this season.
Bill Simmons would go from "F" Jalen Green to "Can I lick your n#ts Mr. Green" Jaylen Brown is at his ceiling right now.
