What a dumb thread. CP3 played like crap and Capela looks bad too. Calm the F down. Even if we win or lose you cannot gut the team and try to rebuild with Harden, who will be 30 next year. If you did, then when the rebuilt team is ready Harden will be too old...aka Chris Paul's age.

    another delusional post

CP3 is the worst contract out of anyone u mentioned BY FAR, and the Hawks would also give away a lottery pick

an extremely undersized backcourt of Trae Young and CP3...lmao, mods, please lock this sh*t up

Me either. Morey is obsessed with stockpiling guards.

What the hell would you be saying about the Celtics team if you were a Celtics fan?!?!?

Apparently this Rockets team is no good because

    (a) we won 65 games last season but couldn't beat a team with 2 hall of famers, and 3 other multiple all stars
    (b) we followed that by making an off-season mistake, but recovered by cutting it out, and played at a 60 win pace for the remaining 70% of the season
    (c) BUT we are currently down 3-2 to a historically great team, that has had 2 hall of famers (for all 5 games), plus contains 4 other guys who are multiple all-stars (one of whom hasn't played in the series)

So the conclusion is we should blow it up and get into the draft so we can be like the Celtics....

Meantime over in the Leastern Conference, the Celtics
    (a) won 55 games, but lost in the Eastern Conference finals to a team that was then swept in the finals (the team that made the finals beat us 4-3)
    (b) made no off-season mistake, but still slid to 49 wins this season (ouch). And lost in the Eastern conference semi-finals

Where's the appeal to throw it in the blender?

It's hard to win a championship. When 6 guys on the same team are multiple time all-stars, then it is VERY hard to get through them. This series is very far from over. Win game 6, and then what? Why not go win game 7?

What would you say if that happened? It isn't beyond the realms of probability... are we still blowing it up? What if we then beat Denver/Portland and are in the finals? We tanking to be the Celts? Stuck in mediocrity and sitting on a pile of assets as thick as thicc.... pointless. You gotta cash in at some stage and have a go.

and before that he was all about the undersized tweeners...

I just dont understand why we only fill our roster to allow for only 1 style/game plan... we have a 15 man roster... figure 8-9 man rotation... add a few injury options... and u still got a couple slots for a changeup option... I'd like a 1 big bulky muscular enforcer option - a Charles Oakley type - someone who can go in and just rough guys up when CC is getting pushed around... Nene before he got old...

Meanwhile those same rookies flourish and then are used to bring us down.

Trade Hardhead for a couple of high draft picks.
    Zion anyone?

We're still in a winnable playoff series granted I don’t feel confident about game 6 but we already talking about rebuilding ? Lol

late 1st round picks will generally take at least 3-4 years to be ready to contribute to a contender, and most will never become NBA caliber players
