You would think it would be more ideal to keep the rookie Wiltjer but with Dmo's addition to the team the front court looks pretty heavy. Plus it's probably best to think ahead with Beverley and Gordon's injury history, they're known to miss 10-15 games. But then again the same can be said for Anderson who's had a decent injury list. Wish we could cut Brown and Ennis in order to make room for Dmo and Gary Payton II. If Dmo does get matched, I'm curious to see how long it takes for him to play meaningful minutes.
Between him and Brown, I would assume so, though it was be very, very sad to see. Spoiler Because his his name rhymes with Penis which is always fun to make fun of.
Yep, but we should still consider that even if we match, there's still a (good maybe) chance we'll not make D.Mo 2nd year guaranteed :/
Given how easy the Rockets have moved on past players that's a pretty reasonable decision I could see them making. Dmo just needs to work on staying healthy, hopefully his back injuries stay in the past!
Dude pretty much laid out half the NBa teams as DMo possible destinations. Nice investigative work J.R.
He obviously wants to be the #1 guy in brooklyn. Then get paid even more when he hits the market again. With rockets his stats will be lower and his value will be low again
For 4yrs in BKN. That's a lot of waiting Key rotation players on teams that go deep into playoffs with high scoring offenses are hot items on the market too. See Barnes, Harrison
Rockets very may well match. Troll still doesn't know anything. @FTW Rockets FTW said Brooklyn was going to sign him. Obviously he is now an insider and should be taken seriously. Hey, can I sign up for your weekly insider newsletter FTW?
My guess is that it is much more likely than not donuts comes back and either Brown or Ennis is cut. The only concern, and it is very minor, is how does donuts fit in given the great play of Dekker, Harrell, Nene, Capella, and Ryno. My assumption at this point is that MDA will make him earn his way back into the rotation, which may or may not happen. We have a month to figure it out before the first year becomes guaranteed. where do minutes come from? I would suppose Donuts pulls off of Brewer, Dekker, Harrell, and Nene. Welcome Back Donuts!
It'd be easier to know if they match if we knew the terms of the original deal they offered. All we knew was $7 million for the first year. If the last two years of the contract aren't guaranteed like I've heard I'd say go for it. Will be a good reason to cut Brown if anything. Plus you have a hopefully fresh body when Nene needs rest and Montrezz just isn't enough.
Anyone have access to the Pelton article? http://www.espn.com/nba/insider/sto...ch-donatas-motiejunas-offer-brooklyn-nets-nba
I think someone already posted this yesterday in one of the D.Mo threads, i can't remember which one though.
I tried using the Search to find something in all the DMo threads, it said, "Error: Too many DMo threads. Try again, later."
