I think I agree with you.

I agree with you at least enough that I wouldn't dismiss the idea quickly.

That's a product of how much I believe the Texans need to acquire big play playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. Cruz is that kind of player.

His name is irrelevant. What is importent is he IS a better option than Posey or Martin.#Fact

his name is irrelevant, yes, but if you don't even know it, how closely could you have actually been paying attention?

If Posey wouldn't have got hurt, he is better than Heyward-Bey and showed as much based on is play down the stretch and in the playoffs.

Martin, i'm not that high on either.

And i'm not even against Bey coming here for cheap...i was simply pointing out he his hands aren't very good, which is a fact.

the point is probably moot becasue Texans will probably just resign Walter on the cheap and continue to battlefight but, Posey made one play in preseason and one in the regular season before tearing his ACL walking; who knows with him. DHB on the other hand, had **** thrwoing the ball to him his first two years and turned in decnt seasons with Palmer at QB the other two. His hands are not great, I'll give you that but I'm hoping he ends up a Texan because he does have the ability to stretch the field and great size for a player who can also run. Plus he played with RunDMC in a run offense so he shouldn't be adverse to blocking.

He's the guy I want but I am totally prepared for another season of KW at a reduced tag with the young guns chomping at his heels... puke

I am sure if Bay had a quality qb(which schuab is) he would be more sought apon. having said that, He does bring what these wr's on are team lack.Size and speed. With him taking the top off defense's, More room for foster and Daniels to get open. True, he most likely is not coming her, but to say Posey is Better, is a stretch

Bey would be awesome here stretching the field and torching dbs. His catching has improved and he wasn't cut because he can't play, he was cut for cap reasons. Posey will not be 100% for the next two seasons so basically the debate is Bey vs Martin& Jean, I'd take Bey. Don't know wtf Smith is doing besides signing all pro TE Supernaw but he needs to snatch this guy up because if the patriots don't sign Welker or Cribbs they're going to torment the league for the next three years with this guy

CB Nnamdi Asomugha's potential destinations include Texans, 49ers, Broncos, and Cardinals, per league source.

Bet he ends up with the 49ers. Isn't he from the Bay Area (I know he's a Cal guy)?

Pancakes: Texans love their starting CBs Johnathan Joseph and Kareem Jackson. Unless Asomugha is ready to move to S he won't be coming to Houston.
