I tried this back in the day with Randy Moss on Madden back when he was God-like. I had him playing both sides of the ball and my thinking was I'd start getting tons of interceptions. I even turned off stamina so he wouldn't get tired. But, he was terrible.

He makes a 100M, so I think he should be utilized in all positions. I would like to see him on special teams and kick returns as well.

Sometime during the season I'd probably stick him in as a decoy .

I'm sure the Texans will start to utilize guys on both sides of the ball - same thing the Patriots did with Vrabel, who's now the LB coach. Like others said injuries should keep him limited to short yardage and goal line, but Watt's college experience at TE and unbelievable hands make him a good option at TE.

I'm pretty sure he started off at Central Michigan or whatever small school it was, at tight end, because that was the only scholarship he could get.

Hell, he walked away from that scholarship so he could walk on at Wisconsin, the place he had always wanted to play. If he was highly regarded at either position, at that point, he wouldn't have had to walk on. Granted, he did work himself up to being highly regarded at his defensive position.

I have no doubt, though, that if he wanted to, he could pote tially be a pro bowl tight end....if that was the only position he played.

Edit: after digging into it a bit more, he did have official visits to other schools, like Colorado and Minnesota. Not sure if they offered scholarships.

Either way, he was not highly regarded coming out of high school at either positions he was a two star recruit.

Watt has blocked some kicks on special teams already.

Watt should NOT play more offense...
    1) save his energy for defense
    2) avoid unnecessary injury
    3) Dre needs his TDs

Yes he has. And that's the extent of his ST participation.

He will not be blocking on kick offs and punt returns. lolol.

he could be in 6-7 plays on offense - goal line or 4th and inches in clutch time (2-3 as a decoy) during the whole season. nothing more.
