So I was thinking the other day but didn't wanna start a useless thread so this place looks perfect.

What seems more realistic?

Harden or Paul record 20 assists in a game

Capela has a 25 rebound game

 

Nah. We need Chris to sign an extension this summer. I think we have a better chance of him signing said extension if we don't piss him off by making him a 6th man. Just my opinion tho.

 

No. Chris Paul doesn't come off the bench. What you do is start him alongside Harden and then bring in EG about halfway through the first quarter.

Don’t make me say it 4 times.

CP3 just needed to study Harden over the last 13 games or so:
1) know where your 3-pt shooters are
2) pick set
3) drive
4) kick-out or lob or lay up/ finger roll/ flip shot in the lane
5) rinse & repeat. It’s the 2 for 1 possessions (with about 32 secs) at the end of a quarter.....the entire game.

The old point guard mentality of holding the ball & always looking for a better shot at the rim needs to be done
sparingly. Despite what D’Antoni says...it is 7 seconds or less. Get the rebound or tip the ball out & then
set up again for a decent shot in about 10 secs or less of the reset time clock.

As the new players (P J Tucker /Luc Mbah a Moute/ T Black) learned this scheme; the pace and efficiency
have improved. CP3 needs to do what Jeremy Lin didn’t understand playing next to Harden...steps 1-5.

Harden & CP3 will eventually givethe Rockets 48 mins of relentless attack, attack, attack mode.
More if the game goes into overtime. Goal should be first team to 95 possessions in the game wins.
