The heat just traded for Anderson straight up for the two player we wanted/need. That cost us a first (to move Knight & Chriss), Melton (much needed this season) & still don’t have the 2 players. —> makes a fool of DM & the Rockets —> Pat that 2 (Bosh)
Mitch kupchak contacted his friend Chris Wallace this afternoon and wanted both green and temple involved in the deal. Both are solid defenders. Wallace turned down morey deal.
From what I've gathered they could have sent us Tyler Johnson and Ellington for Anderson but didn't do it only to execute the same trade today with Phoenix. Also this is the second time Riley's dicked us over IIRC. The first time was going in at the 11th hour and giving Bosh his max contract when we all but got him locked up. Also **** Pat Riley. Not Morey's fault John Starks couldn't hit **** in Game 7
Funny to hear him b**** about someone reneging on a deal, when that sounds exactly like his SOP for his personal business.
We have been hearing this BS since CD failed to acquire Brandon Roy. Pro basketball is no child's play. Even kids are street smart. These guys are acting so naively.
Not sure what Codman is referring to, but Tilman wasn't talking about Miami. I knew this last night but didn't have a source, IKO has now verified it. @KellyUnchained The Rockets had a deal with Memphis agreed to on Friday. This is what David Locke was referring to. Brandon Knight and a pick for Temple and Green. Then Memphis backed out.
Memphis refused to trade Luxury Tax Profits to Tilman, so Tilman went to Sacramento to trade for Luxury Tax Profit's cousin, Luxury Tax Saving, along with his great-grandson, Luxury Tax Saving IV.
Yes, welcome to professional sports where poor ownership/upper management are rampant. We all know the franchises that are poorly run. Sac Kings, New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies, Nets, Magic, Bobcats and then in baseball you got Orioles,Marlins, off the top of my head, etc.
