That's an automatic weapon. I could only watch a few seconds of that, but it was enough. Good lord. People like this madman shouldn't have access to anything remotely like that. No one should, unless they are a licensed collector with a permit. Not in my opinion. And I don't care if it was a modified semi. If they can be modified like that by a crazy card player, they shouldn't be on the market.
And what if he's a licensed collector with a permit? He easily could have been given his squeaky clean record and financial situation so that narrative doesn't really work here.

I was saying that I think there's a good chance that is the case in this instance. The guy had a squeaky clean record and there's a good chance he purchased the weapons legally, which means having a federal firearms license.

I'm glad I bought my bump stocks a year ago. They might get banned now. Or you know sell out because that's how gun sales work in this country. When something is used to kill a bit load of civilians that weapon's sales go through the roof.
