What's he going to teach him? How to throw elbows while backing down people in the post?

I like DCuz and think he has the ability to be something special, even with this problems. If he can focus and really be a banger..hes got the touch to be very very good.

I think Shaquille could really help him. More with the maturity issues Cousins has, rather than in a basketball sense. Someone needs to get through to the guy, someone he respects and will listen to, maybe actually take their advice to heart. The kid needs to pay attention to someone. If Shaquille can't break through, Cousins problems are deep indeed.

For pure basketball tutoring? No one would be better than Dream.

Shaq seems like the perfect mentor for Boogie just like Dream seems like the perfect mentor for DH12.

Only mentality-wise, Shaq has no real post-moves. Aww he's gonna teach him how to shoot free throws...wait...

At the very least, he can tell Cousins to stick to the paint instead of chucking long 2s.

Shaq can't stop repeating it on TV whenever he talks about centers, so maybe he can get that into Cousins' head. It would be a significant improvement.

Andrew Bynum, then one of the Lopez brothers (he didn't seem to know the difference), now Cousins... Next week it'll be Asik and Tyson Chandler.

    Basically, he'll never say Dwight.

You forgot Hibbert. He said Hibbert was the best center in the NBA after the Pacers won game 6.

Shaq, the same guy who this past season said that DeAndre Jordan is the best center in the Western Conference?

    Agreed 100%

In general yes. But for pure basketball tutoring for Cousins, I think Shaq would be better. Cousins will never have the moves of Hakeem. He's much better off learning how to use his size and be physical down low.
