Tweet it to him. Or ask the Rockets to put the clip on the jumbotron during Battier's first game back in Houston next season.
I heard that house was really good at defending against intruders a few years ago. It has since lost its edge tho. I mean look at that fence..
Considering all the money he makes, Battier is pretty cheap judging by his house. Even my yard is bigger then his and my house is barely is only somewhere in the 100 k range. And my uncle's house that cost about 500 k looks better then this crap he's trying to get for almost 2 mill.
location...location...location, that property is in west university not in Sugar Land, the land alone is worth more than most mansions in the suburbs
I'm not sure how someone can buy a million dollar home and be "cheap". I'm not crazy about the house either, but that's probably right around what it's worth. It's not like he just made up an outrageous price to try and make a huge profit.
Read aggie87's reply. Where's your uncle's house located? I guarantee you it's not in Southampton. Most people (smart ones anyway) care more about location than the physical house itself.
A lot on Shane's street is going for $499,900 and it's only .14 acres. That should give you a general idea as to what the property alone is worth. Battier's lot is about .17 acres. If Battier's lot is valued as the same per price per .01 acre, his lot alone would probably be valued at around $607,021. Also Battier's house is actually a little closer to the heart of downtown than that lot listed making his lot even more valuable. http://search.har.com/engine/2729-Wroxton-Rd-Houston-TX-77005_HAR94690487.htm
Must be nice neighborhood. House is not that spectacular for an NBA player, but Battier is modest. Battier should just sell it to Patterson.
The assesed market land value for Shane's house is $537,600 and assesed market improvement value is $800,837, the house you listed is $429,400 for land and about $19,000 for improvement. Shane's house is significantly bigger than the other houses for sale on his street. There are a few houses over 2mil in that area code and it is the sq.ft. that differentiates them from the houses under a million. Off topic but Shane's asking price is about $500,000 over its appraised value but that is normal, he is not expecting anyone to meet that price.
you know it's offseason GARM when: Posters are discussing property values on a former player's house.
