Shane Battier to Spurs?

    Spurs would be a great fit for Battier (essentially taking over the Bruce Bowen role from the championship years) and San Antonio isn't very far from his home in Houston. Still if he wants to go ring chasing then Miami may be his best bet.

    FYI Battier's lastest tweet left strong indications that he means to announce his decision tomorrow.

    You need to get off battiers balls it would be the nail in the coffin.
    All an aging team needs is a aging perimeter defender who couldn't start over Sam Young lol

    With so many back-to-back games, those old farts are going to have so many injuries. I predict them finishing 6th seed. I don't feel sorry for them though.
