My God... LOL. On a side note, it's funny how big he looks compared to "normal" people. I know he's 6'8" and all, but in the NBA that's run of the mill. I bet nobody had the nerve to tell him how bad he was
not that it matters, but I posted this in the Battier Leaving Team USA Thread. I suppose it can have its own thread though. I wanna know what Clutchfans member added it to youtube.. its the person's first video... so you know they created the username just to post it!
Until now, I thought that Shane Battier would someday be a US Senator. But this is damn too incriminating.
I was in Vegas during the USA Olympic Team tryouts and met Chris Bosh at Wynn. Well, after I got a pic with Bosh, a drunken white chick came up started talking about how Battier was drunk off of his butt elsewhere in the casino, she started impersonating him and it was pretty damn funny...something like he kept saying "can a brotha get a..."
I actually think its endearing, sort of like the part where Cameron Diaz sings karaoke in My Best Friends Wedding. But I would be embarrassed as all get out if someone recorded me doing karaoke and posted it on Youtube. I would also expect a lot of teasing from my friends. It is good that the guy can relax after a stressful couple of weeks. And you have to admit, Shane played well in playoffs so he didn't have anything to be ashamed of. I love the comment on youtube "I don't know why we were cheering for Battier when Boozer was still playing in the playoffs" cracks me up. Still so bitter. There is always next year... ask a Red Sox fan. Where's Battier's Baby to comment?? LOL
Battier's karoke is like Battier's offense... very limited arsenal of moves... the "pointing" move seems to be the karaoke's version of the "Corner 3."
Wait a minute.... Battier is said to have left Team USA to deal with "family issues" I wonder if the familiy issue is his wife getting mad and his getting drunk (and perhaps more?) in Vegas? I mean... the FIBA tourney is in Vegas, right?
Sometimes bad karaoke can be even better then good karaoke ... I'll let you decide if this is one of those times
