    Hello, Everyone!

I joined this particular messageboard soon after Shane signed with the Rockets, and after I discovered that the team does not seem to have an "official" team board.. I've been a Grizzlies fan for years, so it's still a bit unusual to see Shane in a Rockets uniform, but it should grow on me.

I like the shoes, though I'm wondering why he isn't wearing adidas brand ones for a second season? Of the pictures that I've seen, the red and white ones are my favorite! :)

    Go, Shane! Go, Rockets!

    BattiersBaby.

I'm not sure I like the look, they do look like they protect the ankle very well and if this is what Battier was looking for, the shoes should be good for him. If he does wear one, he should go with the red ones to go with the Rockets jerseys.

I will not choose it if I were him.
I hope he will be okay in the coming season... wearing this shoes.

May I ask WHY ?? Just because it is made in China ?? Or the endorsement $$$$ (US$ 4M for 3 years) is too low ???

    Peak >> Reebok :p

China does make quality product. It is just that for each authentic product there are about 10 fake ones in the market.

It's understandable for some of you to question the quality of these shoes since you have never heard of the brand before. But I have no doubt these are quality shoes. You all should know most Nikes, Addidas, Reeboks are made in China. The Peak shoes may very well be spin-offs from these name brands.

I am really happy that a chinese brand able to cooperated with a NBA player, Most of best shoes are made in China. I was just little worried, cos I had a pair of that shoe before, I dont like the feeling of wearing it when I paly basketball. Maybe it gets better now, I perfer Li-Ning, the top shoes brand in China. :p

In those pictures, it looks like they're going to have Peak Shoes advertising on the scorers table?

i think that only New Balance has bigger letters. but the NB is the actual logo. this on the other hand is just gaudy.
