It means some people are more concerned with working their stat line than focusing on the W/L column... imo...

Thanks, Rockets should be just fine now that you chimed in with this take.

Kinda like earlier in the season when Westbrook was shooting it 25 times a game on like 38/22/78 splits? He seemed pretty concerned about scoring a **** ton of points by shooting us out of as many games as he could.

Luckily at that point Harden was averaging 40 on Curry like efficiency to buoy Westbrook’s shooting sabotage of the first 25 games.

To be honest I like the message, but Westbrook might be the last person in the NBA qualified to talk about setting ego aside and doing what’s best for the team.

That was the story of his entire career. His ego and me first attitude wouldn’t let him stop shooting when he knew better. His ego and me me attitude forced a team to work in unison to feed his mvp triple double year all while the team ultimately suffered.

So I’m glad he’s found a reason to change for these last 4-5 weeks and do what’s best for the team, but this is like his 11th 12th season and he hasn’t been known for that almost his entire career.

Well Westbrook is the one who was preaching the whole selflessness thing sooo.... In my opinion he has zero room to speak on the subject. His career kinda was an embodiment of the exact opposite.

Doesn't matter what I think, it matters what happens, seen situations like this before, in fact it just happened with Chris Paul.
