Waiting for the day Houston Fans start booing Tillman. I expect him to get the same treatment Dolan gets. If Morey and Harden are done so is this Franchise.

Btw I am still mad at the Ennis trade last year. I know he wasn’t but he was another serviceable wing that we could have used against the Warriors and we just outright dumped him for luxury tax savings. Not to mention we gave up a first round pick for Shumpert to get under the tax thresold and he provided nothing for us and no one even wants him now. I kinda miss Les now. He was a weirdo but he was never as cheap as Tilman.

Anybody who has defended Tilman is hopelessly naive. It’s only a matter of time before the next move is made with financial implications mattering more than the teams roster. It’s only a matter of time...

Dang man I’m gonna miss the lamb chops. Why Gary? Why? Nene is not doing anything. Thabo looks like the main actor from Breaking 2: Electric Boogaloo - plus he sucks. This is no bueno bro. The streets do not approve.

Why pay a HC millions when a young and upcoming one will only cost thousands?

I enjoy your posts because you really go into detail to support your stance and ideas. For the most part we are on same page.

However, you are mistaken if you believe that I am a MDA only fan. I question the anti-MDA contingent because they have no better option for HC, simply wanting D'Antoni fired. Who is available that is better? Not worse, not a little better but CHAMPIONSHIP better.

Defense is not MDA forte, he has admitted to that and Bzdelik was brought in so he can improve in that area. It is not D'antoni's fault that Bzdelik, Rogers and all his other assistants were let go.

It is not MDA fault that he does not have better defensive players to support Harden.

But to downplay MDA impact on offense and James Harden is disingenuous. Harden, Morey and countless Rockets have lauded how important MDA is to their success.

Both Paul and Westbrook as well as other free agents have emphasized how much they wanted to play for MDA.

Harden is a once in a generation player no doubt but coaches help unlock these players as well and place them in position to maximize their success. Michael Jordan without the Zen Master and I guarantee multiple rings are not part of his story. Same with Red Auerbach and the Celtics dynasty. Same with Pop and Tim Duncan. Same with Belichick and Tom Brady.

Can D'Antoni/Harden pairing result in a ring, we have remainder of this season to see.

But remember this, Harden has had 3 coaches in his NBA career before D'Antoni. None of those coaches have impacted Harden like MDA, bringing him to historic heights (lead league in assists, 2x leading league in scoring, historical scoring seasons, etc.).

yup we need a 33 year old player that shoots 32.7 percent from 3 and averages 7 points a game off a bench in Utah in 18 minutes a game.. That is the missing piece for sure. We really need more offense. Thats the key.

What we need is what we cant get. Lord Covington.

by this logic we should not have signed Bmac or austin rivers either. he would fit much better with us.

covington is overrated garbage. got obliterated again tonight by the grizzlies.

yup I mean Covington shooting 60 precent from the field ronight. and 4 3s is really overrated. He is a big 3D , which is exactly the long permimeter body we need on defense. Of course he loses games. Hes on a wolves team with no one healthy and they suck. Strong role players on bad teams dont get to showcase their strengths too often.

You might be playing facetious just to desperately defend Morey, but he's been washed for a while now. Who likes him around the league?

worst +/- on the team. he is a net negative overall. his defense hasnt been any good since he left philly..... hmmm i wonder why that could be ? probably no joel embiid to make him look good. embiid got him paid.

im no clark fan so it doesnt really matter to me. but u do know u could of did both right. this was a luxury tax move. period. lets be smarter then to believe the pr.

again im not really concerned about this move tho. clark just wasnt doing anything. dont know why we have thabo either.

i mean the only hope is that if it was a sure fire player that would give us a ring he would go over for that

bad news thats kind of a weak way to operate cause those who take risk tend to be the guys who win.

Ennis wouldn’t have helped. We couldn’t get a rebound when it mattered.
