So, pretty much Magic, Knicks (although i really don't see it as an option), Suns, Mavs, Bulls, Pacers (interesting option imo)...Jazz, Lakers? On paper Nets, Kings, Hawks, Clippers, Sixers have also cap space but for different reasons i don't think they would have interest.

A lot of teams with a heavy need of a pg there, most of them haven't be able to get a top free agent in years many and likely won't again this summer. All are subject to fail in making a good enough upgrade via free agency and might be more willing to trade for a bad contract if the cost is not high and they think it would still upgrade their team.

76ers seem like a sneaky decent spot.

Butler didn't jive well, wonder if a Paul for Butler S&T could be done.

    Paul
    Reddick
    Harris
    Simmons
    Embiid

    Gordon
    Harden
    Butler
    Tucker
    Capela

I'll believe it when it happens!

It'll cost the Rockets to salary dump Paul what it cost the Lakers to get Davis. :D
3 firsts & bunch of pick swaps.

Paul can only pass first round without harden.
    Not comparable to steph salary.

Doesn't matter, that's the worst contract in the league, and Morey knows it.

Tilman loves 1st round picks as they can be used to shed salary.

TIlman seems as if he wants to be the next Mark Cuban, that owner who just can't get out of the way. And everytime I have seen him on camera I just don't get a good feeling about this guy. And the fact that he has his sons taking notes on how Morey does things has me thinking dark days are coming.

So, please get this ring soon, otherwise I will be long gone before we get another 'ship.

Full blurb, for context (emphasis mine).
    Houston Rockets

The Rockets have had conversations around Capela — and had preliminary conversations about All-Star Chris Paul, including discussing Paul deals with teams that have the necessary cap space to absorb his three years and $125 million after the free-agency moratorium in July, league sources said. Rockets GM Daryl Morey said publicly that the team does not plan to trade Paul.

Knicks would be interesting, I see them striking out on every possible free agent now, even Zion in the draft obviously. Why not pair up CP3 with Barrett and see what happens for a year? Plus, they'd be getting a few first rounders to help the rebuild.

One first round is worth 15 million,
8 first rounds to attach his contract.

Yikes. Had no idea they were taking notes. Hope he doesn’t think they can do what Morey does. They can’t.

I said i don't think they would be interested cause i assume they might want to add two stars, seems pretty clear just one wouldn't make them good enough, especially if we're talking about a 34 years old Chris Paul. I just think waiting another year and develop their young players might be a much better idea for them. Then again, we're talking about the Knicks so, you never know i guess.

unless we end up completely swindling someone this will be a terrible move as far as winning is concerned.

We took the gamble on the cp3 contract and lost. This is our punishment. We will not get equal talent in return in any trade

Chris Paul’s head is three times the size of his hamstring. He’s the biggest mental midget in the NBA

Tilman has wasted no time solidifying himself as one of the worst owners in the NBA.
