    I still think we are missing a good SF and/or PF that can come in and give this team that other player that can create below the FT line in the offense. I think that is the one advantage G St has had over us in playoffs. Draymond at the PF spot and Iggy at SF. Both of those guys can get the ball and make plays for them. We rely on two or 3 guards to do all of the scoring and creating. We have to find that guy that can play 'in between' and make those little plays, like on the offensive boards, faking the 3 and finishing in the paint, or driving and making a good pass. He doesn't need to be an allstar just solid.

    I agree with this to a certain extent. The reality is that Harden does not play off ball as well as he should or could.

    Now, this isn't unique to Harden.... Westbrook is the same way, and so are a number of other Hall of Famers.

    However, it is fair to point out..... Shaq was lazy on defense at times, Jordan would at times disengage and let Pippen implode to teach his a lesson, Kobe Bryant would take off whole halves defensively.... every player has limitations or warts.

    Why? Trading Chris Paul likely means you have to likely add two star players.

    The Rockets are better off having Paul and Harden in the back court and trying to trade for a near star level 3-5 and seeing what happens.

    The Rockets need to ride this out and try to add for the next year. If everything goes south, then you can try dealing away players and rebuilding.

    No it doesn’t because Chris Paul is like 1/2 of an all star, and to me things went South the day we signed him.

    He does but that's not saying much. One thing I can say is Blake game has evolved from when he first got to the league. I was really pulling for dwight but dudes a cancer

    paul unfortunately looks done. he can still bring it once in a while, and is otherwise a servicable player on the court. but no longer a star or mismatch for us. and with the percentage of the cap his salary is eating up, there will not be any way to properly fill out the roster for a contender. imo we should move in a different direction asap
