Shabazz Muhammad sent home for having guest without permission

Well, that's a really dumb rule. I didn't realize the NBA was a summer camp.

 

Dumb rule, but dumb move on Shabazz for not following it.

 

Is there a typo in the article or is it a 4 day event, but rookies come in 2 waves for 2 days?

Eitherway, this bodes well for his career!

If somebody is paying me millions of dollars for playing basketball six months out of a year, they can make as many dumb ass rules as they want.

he signed the contract and is getting paid millions of dollars. If he can't follow a simple rule for 2 or 4 days, then he's really an idiot.

 

Dumb rule. He shouldn't have broken it. At the end of his career, good or bad, no one will care to remember it.

 

If he is that's cool. but I doubt that's the kind of thing he'll be breaking.

 

Similar things were said when Beasley got kicked out of the same program.

Are you getting them from Mario Chalmers and Darrell Arthur too? They got kicked out for partying during the orientation session.

Come on people, everyone is overreacting.

 

No one cares. I've broken rules before too. People act like Shabazz is a grown up, he's 20, when you all were 20 you were probably binge drinking and skipping classes in college too.

 

When did Beasley get kicked out of the program?


People do not remember Beasley for being kicked out of NBA's Rookie Transition Program (which, he wasn't kicked out of the program). They remember him most for his wasted potential and getting caught for mar1juana. Two totally different things.

Mario was kicked out and no one goes, "You know, he is a solid role player on a championship team, too bad he got kicked out of the NBA's Rookie Transition Program... otherwise he would be even better."

This event will not define Shabazz. It will just keep a closer lens on an already highly watched player.

That being said, Shabazz does show signs of someone following Beasley's path; but, this event will be forgotten.
