Who did we trade to get Harden?

We will have to trade Parsons and Motiejunas.

Love is a GREAT PF and the Rockets should be all over the phone lines trying to find a way to get him this season while his stock is low. He's one of the best rebounders in the league and can stretch the court with his stellar 3pt shooting. He would be a PERFECT fit with this team. Harden+Lin would have a lot more room to work with in the paint with the threat of Love at the 3pt line.

With Love hurt & seemingly unhappy with management, I'd love to see a trade like this-

We would have to give up alot of players (parsons, moti, jones, delfino) but I would do it in a heart beat. The guy is one of the only 4's that can take us to championship contenders. Can't say the same about smith and crew u named

I like LaMarcus Aldridge a lot too.

On Love, he can shoot and Rebound.

Another thought, One thing that's interesting is that morey does an insanely good job of increasing players value. Beginning of the season, after Hardin trade, I didn't think we had any valuable trading assets, but every single player on the roster has increased value drastically.

Serious question about people's insistence on Love not being a top PF in the NBA (and apparently can't help this team)

WTF are y'all thinking. Apparently now if you can't get the top PF in the league (Aldridge) then there is no point in getting the other arguably best PF in the league...

    People love:

    1. Lin - next Yao
    2. Kevin Love - next Bird
    3. James Harden - next black guy that can play basketball

You'd have black people, white people and Asians and latinos cos they love Lin for some reason gathered under one empty stadiumed team. Thats pretty cool.

Love may be having a bad year this season due to injury but his style of play fits in with the Rockets. His shooting range can stretch the floor for Harden and Lin, and he's a rebounding monster. Plus, he's still young, and he is the most likely out of all the other players to leave his current team and sign with Houston.

Timberwolves with Kevin Love : 9-9.
Timberwolves without Kevin Love : 7-7.

    Question answered!

Well, I'm certain Minnesota's past history of success will make up for that. Except that they've been terrible every single year he's been there. Not ok, not bad, but terrible.

Kevin Love puts up big numbers, but his team doesn't get any better for it. The numbers are hollow. He's a monster on the defensive glass, but he's not a great defender otherwise; he takes a TON of jump shots, but he's not a great shooter.

He would fit pretty well in Houston though - he'd be a great second fiddle to a playmaking guard. And Asik could cover his defensive inadequacies.

Yes, Love is that much better than Smith or Aldridge.

What do our PF's do now that is a huge bonus for our team? Shoot 3's. Love would be much better than any of our current options.

What do we need from our PF's that we do not get enough of? Rebounding. Love is the best rebounding 4 in the game.

Why would they take Dmo back? They drafted him and traded instantly, they don't want him. If you don't want to give up Harden, Then it's Asik + all the firs round picks for the decade  But there No way Min will deal with Rockets without Harden... They are not in the same spot Thunder was with Harden...

Well, if he continues to play the way he has been playing this season then sorry, the Rockets are better off without him. Here are his current stats: FG% is 0.352, 3p% is 0.217 and FT% is 0.704.

The only thing he has been doing well this season is rebounding. Also, the dude is injured again - better to get a helping hand, not that his can't

This is the kind of post about the t-wolves that really make me laugh. T-wolves haven't been exactly good the last few years, Kaaaaaahn wasted a ton of high lottery picks that could have helped the team, in fact the high lottery picked he had that panned out was Rubio, everybody else is either out of the league, on his way out of the league or has not performed up to the standards of a top 5 pick.

In the case of Love, he's not KG so he won't be able to put a team on his back and carry them to the playoffs. But the things that he does do well, those are the kind of stuff that an elevate an already good team to greater heights. Love isn't that efficient a scorer, but he does shoot 40% from the 3 from 3 pt land, which is actually quite good and efficient. He's the best rebounder in the NBA, and would probably make a case for one of the best rebounders in history...on a team that lacks a good rebounder, that awesome for us. He has good bball IQ and has amazing passing skills, well with Harden learning to play off the ball and a ton of jump shooters on the roster it's a great fit as well.

And then there's the age factor. At only 24 years old, Love can definitely take the time and grow with Harden, something you can't really say about Bosh+the other dream PFs other people have. You can trade everyone on the roster for Love, and then be bad for 3 years and Harden/Love would still be only 27. That's a crazy long window to compete, which is why IMHO Love is still the best PF target on the market for this team.

Something has to happen in order to be able to buy low. 2 Hand injuries qualify.

This time he is out for about 8 to 10 weeks though, so this season he is pretty much done. I'm sure he will continue to shoot badly once he is back; for how long? who knows. This is his second injury to the same hand in 1 season.

Volume shooting injury prone players are loved by people here. His midrange sucks but he can shoot 3's ? Weird, his defense is worse than Morris but that doesnt seem to be a concern with people here. We will play the same spread offense we do now with Patterson and asik on,floor will lower loves rebound numbers. We might as well save the cap and develop what we have. No crybaby kevin love needed
