    El base menorquín del Real Madrid y de la selección española de baloncesto, Sergio Llull, expresó su "deseo de seguir en el club blanco" y de "acabar el contrato" que tiene por dos años más ya que confesó sentirse "feliz" de pertenecer al club y dijo "no" tener "intención alguna de salir del equipo" a pesar del fuerte interés en él de los Houston Rockets, club que posee sus derechos en la NBA.

    "Quiero acabar mi contrato en el Real Madrid, estoy feliz aquí, quiero pasar muchos años porque estoy encantado y feliz de pertenecer al equipo, desde que llegué siempre me han tratado muy bien", expresó el base del Real Madrid en rueda de prensa.

    En cuanto a los fichajes de Dontaye Draper y de Marcus Slaughter afirmó que son "complementos muy buenos" y tienen "muchas ganas". "Lo importante es que seguimos un año más con el mismo grupo en la plantilla", apuntó.

    También habló del debate que se ha formado tras la llegada de un tercer base al equipo como es Draper, de si el escolta menorquín pasará al puesto de escolta o seguirá ejerciendo de director de juego. "No he hablado nada de eso todavía con Pablo Laso ya que es el primer entrenamiento tras las vacaciones, no sé en que posición jugaré, pero supongo que Pablo (Laso) seguirá queriendo que juegue de base", apuntilló.

    2014. This just means that Llull might not come over next summer, and the Rockets might have to wait another year for him. No big deal.

    Llull never said he doesn't want to EVER leave Real Madrid. He just said that he'd like to play out his contract with them.

    He will still have value going forward, both as a future NBA player and as a trade asset.

    Exactly, who needs a bench player that can't or doesn't want to elevate his game to play with the highest competition.

    If Morey really has been paying a close eye on him and visiting him, he has been wasting his and the organization's time.
