There was somethin in the vancouver province newspaper sayin that this is what we're gonna be doin in remembrance of Sep. 11. We'll be walkin the stairs instead of taking the elevator to work because that's how those who survived got down. I know this has been sort of discussed before as "what will you be doing on Sep. 11," but i want to know what houston and other places around the world are doing as a city to remember the tragedy.
Imma be prayin my ass off that nothing else happens next Wednesday, here in the States, or anywhere else in the World. Taking stairs, thats pretty freaky stuff for me to deal with. What I have been thinking of doing is not listening to any music that day. Just kinda pay my regards with silence the whole day. --rockit
I work on the 36th floor of the building. By the time I made it up the stairs I'd be a complete sweaty mess not to mention exhausted. There are a lot of more practical ways to commemorate the tragedy. I plan on having a moment of silence at 8:00 which is when I heard about the situation from John Granato on 610 radio.
Since this is a 9/11 thread.....here is an interesting story about al Qaida. <A HREF="http://highmarkfunds.stockpoint.com/highmarkfunds/newspaper.asp?Mode=Middle%2BEast&Story=20020906/249w0235.xml">Exclusive: The man who found al Qaida</A>
