he was also a crucial player to the Hawks in their run a couple of years ago when he averaged 12ppg on 48 percent shooting and 39 percent from three
Hardly. He’s average and he’s horrible on offense. His defense does not outweigh his offense. A couple years ago parsons was a borderline all star... Means absolutely nothing today.
Meh, at worst it's neutral vibes. It's a bad nickname but unless he gave himself that nickname, I don't see how saying it's a bad nickname is a negative comment about Ryan Anderson the player or person. FTR he could shoot 100% on 3s while averaging 20 attempts a game and I'd still think it's a bad nickname. This opinion is not about his play. Hell, I'd take Shooter over Ryno.
Parsons is rubbish, we all knew he wasn't going to live up to his contracts. Carroll is a good team player who does lots of good things and he can hit the three
If he can just at least grab some boards near the double digit mark when he isn't shooting well, it would well make up for the shooting woes.
You guys never tried the positive vibes though. Starting to think clutchfans.net doesn't want Anderson to play better so they can have perpetual punching bag.
My fantasy: Ryan Anderson issues a statement that he knows he hasn't played up to the level he expects from himself, so he's donating half his salary to Hurricane Harvey relief. As a result of this statement, two things happen. One, legions of Rockets fans get off his case, not just because he's being a mensch, but because he's no longer underperforming for what he's being paid. People start showing up in pro-Ryno threads to congratulate him on having a pretty good night for a $10M player. And two, his shots start falling again, because he's no longer feeling so much pressure to deliver what he can't. Of course he won't do this. But I bet it would produce the desired results.
He's got all season to work out of this funk. We just need him in the playoffs. He was playing really well for a stretch, esp, with CP3. Now he's not taking the same shots he was last season and to start this season. Just let it fly. If Gerald Green puts up bad shots and we don't freak out, Anderson should throw up a bunch next game to get it out of his system, damn the consequences.
His bank account got positive vibes...Let's hope it rubs off on his shooting sooner rather than later
