Sending positive vibes to Ryan Anderson thread

i actually agree we should run him for a couple minutes in the first half just to at least keep him in some rhythm. even if he's a matchup problem this series we'll need him next week

 

If he'd take open shots I'd say put him in. Only Tuck and Chris seem to be shooting well tonight.

 

Gobert is obviously who I meant. My point is that right now Ryan is used as a center but there isn't a place for him because of the match-ups. I think against GS there will be more of a role for him especially if they play Iguodala and Green as their front line. And they will need Anderson because GS is going to create all sorts of challenges on both ends of the floor.

Rockets advantage is they have more versatility as a team. Ryan can stretch the floor in a way Green can not. Because GS doesn't have a paint clogger who also doesn't clog their often. Neither McGee nor West is going to be ideal for them and that's why they go with the "hamilton 5".

So we'll see, but I'd be surprised if Ryan doesn't get his chances.

I wonder if MDA has enough confidence in him to throw him out there if the Warriors don't have a big for Nene to match up with.

Don't think this is the series for him. In fact, he got benched precisely in anticipation of this series-- need to get reps in for the guys who can match up with GS.

This scrub gave us 5 minutes tonight and produced nothing.

Absolutely nothing while tying up 20 million in salary cap per year.

Now ask yourself this.

What could have been if we had 20 million player that actually produced tonight??

While Klay and Durant are taking paycut on the Warriors, we have the an absolute trash of a scrub in Ryan Anderson that is stealing money from the Rockets and in the process holding this team back.

I mean seriously, Ryan Anderson has laid complete eggs in two playoff seasons in a row.

I hate this man.

What an incredible team, only to be held back by this guy eating up the cap space.

 

at the end of the day we are a 80M team vs a 120M team

 

Never forget when 90 year old David West made a cut to the basket and got a layup because RA was matched up with him. That was the most ridiculous thing I've seen all year.

Ryan is stealing star money while producing scrub performance.

Ryan Anderson is absolutely useless on defense. There is a reason everyone attacks him on defense.

But what is even more embarrassing is that the one skill set he has, shooting 3s, even that he cant pull off.

Why?

Because the man is the definition of a mental midget.

A choker of highest standard.

 

Ryan and EG 4 year deals will be the reason why we can't get a LeBron. Think about that.....
