    Get hit in the femoral artery (inner thigh) and your chances of making it are extremely low.

    More and more, this all sounds like a calculated hit. I doubt an intended murder, more like a botched attempt to shot him in the knee. Have to wonder if he got himself in deep with someone.

    Regardless, it's tragic.

    RIP, very sad news, heard it in the car this morning. It's just awful when people that young with so much ahead of them die.

    I too do not believe it was a robbery, hell, when I first heard about it one of the first things mentioned was that there was a lot of jealousy from people in the neighborhood he came from. We know he used to run with a rough crowd, it's possible it came back to haunt him. Plus the break in from a week ago where a knife was left on his bed.

    This is horrible. It's not like the guy was out on the town, in a club or something causing trouble. Dude was at HOME with his FAMILY. Your house is suppose to be the safest place in the world. You go there to get away from everything else. Regardless of his past, nobody deserves a home invasion. Anyone who says he deserves it because of his past lifestyle needs to be shot in their groin.

    RIP...It's always tough to lose a young man to a senseless act of violence...We don't know the entire story, but it doesn't hide the fact that its sad...

    I heard that. I can't believe that he is gone. He was one of the best players I have ever seen play at Miami in the last 25 years. What a stupid and senseless tragedy. I really hope that the person responsible for this is found and put to death. :mad:

    RIP Sean +++. :( :( :(

    I was shocked to hear he died. Sadly, this is why so many athletes carry guns.

    I was thinking the same thing. I just read where he changed after the birth of his daughter. But I'm wondering if this is a case of his past coming back to haunt him.
